Anita Orbán is negotiating with the American Secretary of State in Washington
Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán is set to meet U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington. Rubio previously visited Hungary in February, discussing U.S. support for Hungary's success. Hungarian politician Péter Magyar invited Rubio to Budapest for October 23, but he did not attend the celebration. In July, representatives of the new Hungarian government met a bipartisan U.S. congressional delegation to discuss Hungarian-American relations, NATO, and security issues. This visit marks the first official trip to the U.S. by a member of the Tisza government. Recently, Orbán highlighted travel expenses compared to Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.
