Anita Orbán is meeting with Marco Rubio on Thursday, two days late.
The official meeting between U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán is scheduled for Thursday at 11 AM local time. They will sign a memorandum of understanding before their bilateral talks. The meeting was initially planned for Tuesday but was postponed due to Rubio accompanying President Trump to Texas. Orbán recently discussed Hungary's economic situation with U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary Francis Brooke and consulted with the International Development Finance Agency. Rubio was invited to Hungary for commemorations but did not attend, having last visited during a campaign meeting with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
