Orbán Anita's Ministry of Foreign Affairs travels for only a tenth of what Szijjártó's predecessor did
Hungary's Foreign Minister Anita Orbán announced significant savings in the ministry's travel expenses, achieving a 30% reduction in diplomatic and development program costs without canceling any programs. The savings stem from a review of previous expenditures and operational adjustments, including the discontinuation of individual air travel services for ministerial delegations. In comparison to the previous administration, the current ministry spent significantly less on travel, with costs dropping from an average of over 25.9 million HUF per trip to under 2.7 million HUF.
