Viktor Orbán: The entire nation has prospered from the TAO resources used in Felcsút

Orbán Viktor addressed questions regarding the funding of the Felcsút Puskás Academy in a response published on its website. He emphasized that the tao funds are private donations, not state support, and highlighted that Felcsút's academy was among the first established in Hungary. He argued that the resources allocated to Felcsút have benefited the entire nation and contributed to the renewal of Hungarian football. Additionally, he noted that the government plans to replace the tao funding system with direct budgetary support for sports organizations starting in 2027.
