The taxi driver was arrested for entering one more zero into the terminal at the end of the rides.
A Budapest taxi driver is accused of fraud for overcharging passengers and stealing from them. The woman primarily targeted foreign customers, charging them multiple times the actual fare by manipulating payment amounts. She also swapped a 20,000 HUF note for a 2,000 HUF note during a transaction and kept a passenger's forgotten bag with a mobile phone inside. Investigators found that she lacked the necessary permits to operate a taxi service. The 46-year-old woman has been detained and is facing charges of fraud and theft.
