György Matolcsy, former central bank governor, has been detained along with Mihály Valkó and Tamás Sándor by the Central Investigative Prosecutor's Office. Matolcsy's arrest is linked to an ongoing investigation involving the Hungarian National Bank. Additionally, an international arrest warrant has been issued for Matolcsy's son, Ádám Matolcsy, and György Stofa. Sándor was unavailable for comment at his workplace.
