Russia has set a new date for the Ukrainian negotiations
Russia is ready to continue trilateral talks with the US and Ukraine regarding the conflict after November 4, according to Yuri Ushakov, an advisor to President Putin. He stated that Moscow was prepared to resume discussions after the September parliamentary elections, but Ukrainian drone attacks hindered this. Ushakov emphasized that Europe's role is crucial, as its stance could significantly influence negotiations. He suggested that the US might pressure Ukraine's leadership to accept Russian conditions. Additionally, preparations for a meeting between Putin, Trump, and Xi Jinping are underway, with the possibility of a separate discussion between Putin and Trump. Putin's participation in the upcoming G20 summit in Miami will depend on the outcomes of the APEC summit.
