National Competence Measurement: The results of fifth graders have deteriorated in important subjects, while those of eighth graders have improved
The national competency assessment results show a decline in fifth graders' performance in key subjects, while eighth graders improved significantly. The assessment involved over 607,000 students across various grades and subjects, revealing a halt in the gradual decline of results. Notably, eighth graders saw a 14-point increase in mathematics and a 15-point increase in reading comprehension. However, fifth graders experienced declines in both areas.
