The Brics want changes in the current world order
The BRICS group advocates for changes in the current global order, emphasizing inclusivity and peace. During the conference "BRICS + In a Multipolar World: Power, Cooperation, and Conflict" in Lisbon, ambassadors from India, Iran, and Kosovo discussed the group's commitment to multilateralism. The BRICS, now comprising 11 countries, aims to reform the global economic order. A joint declaration was signed, highlighting the need for a new forum for better understanding among nations. The BRICS represent nearly half of the world's population, and while still in an embryonic phase, they do not oppose the Western bloc but seek consensus despite existing differences.
