"Undesirable person in Poland". The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacts to the decision of the authorities in Lviv

Poland's Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has initiated a request to blacklist Lviv councilor P. Szeremet, who proposed declaring 2027 as the year of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) and its commander Roman Shukhevych. This decision follows the Lviv Regional Council's announcement to honor UPA and Shukhevych, which has drawn criticism from the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), labeling Shukhevych as responsible for historical atrocities against Poles and other nationalities. The IPN argues that this move reflects a broader trend of promoting a cult of radical Ukrainian nationalism.
