The "grand coalition" has formed: Fidesz and the Dog Party together prevented the dissolution of the mountain district council

A local council meeting discussed the dissolution of the council, which was ultimately rejected with 5 votes in favor and 11 against. Mayor Gergely Kovács, who has lost support since his election, faced criticism from former allies and a proposal for dissolution initiated by independent representative Piroska Visi. The Fidesz party, despite being in opposition, chose not to support the dissolution, citing a desire to avoid involvement in internal conflicts. Visi argued that Kovács failed to maintain a majority and neglected important council decisions, leading to stalled developments in the district.
