Sharp objects in children's Halloween candy. There is an investigation.
Police in Miastko are investigating after four children found sharp metal objects in Halloween candies received from strangers. One child injured their tongue and required hospital treatment. The first report was made on October 31, when parents alerted authorities about the dangerous discovery during a Halloween event. Two 10-year-old girls detected metal pieces in their sweets, leading to one being hospitalized. Later, a 12-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy also reported similar findings. The police have secured the suspicious candies and are interviewing guardians. Investigators are looking for the perpetrators, with potential charges of endangering life or health, which could result in up to three years in prison.
