Except for five, all 60 school districts have new leaders

The evaluation of applications for district educational leaders has concluded, with 55 out of 60 centers set to appoint new leaders. Five districts will require a new application process. A total of 567 applications were received, with 424 meeting the criteria. The new approach emphasizes professionalism and collaboration, restoring rights to school principals while districts will focus on coordination and support. The minister congratulated successful applicants and noted changes in national competency assessments for the 2026/2027 school year.
