Oudenaarde starts with Christmas brigade that brings Christmas decorations and company to residents

Starting December 7, Oudenaarde's first Christmas Brigade will visit residents needing help with holiday decorations and companionship. Volunteers from the local service center will assist those unable to hang decorations themselves, including younger residents. The initiative, inspired by a local citizen, aims to bring warmth and joy to those who may not look forward to the holidays. Residents can sign up for visits until November 25, and the city is also collecting decorations to share. The brigade will return on January 11 to collect decorations and continue conversations, fostering community connections during the festive season.
