Late payments fall to €617.5 million by September

Public entities' overdue payments reached 617.5 million euros from January to September, a decrease of 384.6 million euros compared to the previous month. The budget execution report indicates that the health sector contributed significantly to this reduction, with a drop of 364.9 million euros. Changes in the definition of overdue payments in June prevent a year-on-year comparison. Other sectors, such as Central Administration and Reclassified Public Entities, also saw declines in overdue payments.
