Missing payments for consultations with psychologist check
A group of psychologists has reported that they are providing free consultations to youth under a government program without receiving payment. The initiative, which started on July 2, offers vouchers for psychological and nutritional consultations for individuals aged 12 to 35. Psychologists claim they have not been compensated for services rendered, with some waiting months for payment. The managing entity, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ), acknowledged issues with voucher issuance and has not provided a timeline for resolution. Professionals are calling for clearer guidelines and faster payment processes to ensure continuity of care for young clients.
