Pakistan: Islamabad zoo introduces 'Coffee with Alpaca' attraction

The 'Coffee with Alpaca' attraction at Islamabad's zoo allows visitors to interact with alpacas while enjoying refreshments. The zoo hosts the only herd of alpacas in Pakistan, providing a unique experience. However, the hot summers in Islamabad pose challenges for the animals, which are accustomed to cooler climates. To mitigate heat stress, air coolers were installed in their enclosure. This café setting offers families a chance to observe and engage with the alpacas and llamas, making it a popular outing spot.
