Pallets have moved from express services to small parcel networks

As of July 1, tachographs are mandatory for light delivery vehicles weighing between 2.5 and 3.5 tons, aligning regulations with those for trucks. This change is part of the EU Mobility Package and has led to a decrease in the number of such vehicles in operation. The demand for express transport has dropped significantly, with many carriers exiting the international market due to new regulations. However, remaining carriers have seen an increase in orders, indicating a shift in transport dynamics. The logistics sector is adapting, with a growing interest in less-than-truckload shipping, especially for longer international routes, as Poland strengthens its role as a logistics hub.
