PAN demands an apology from Montenegro for police action

Inês Sousa Real, spokesperson for PAN, called for the Prime Minister to apologize for police actions during housing protests and to engage in dialogue with demonstrators. She emphasized that the police should support the population rather than oppose it. Following a court ruling that allowed a protester to stay overnight in Lisbon, Sousa Real viewed this as a government defeat and urged the Prime Minister to understand the realities faced by those living in tents. She also criticized the Ministry of Internal Administration's interpretation of the court's decision, asserting it reinforced the right to protest after midnight under certain conditions. Additionally, she praised the involvement of young protesters and advocated for lowering the voting age to 16.
