Pardubice will be led by a coalition of five entities. The victorious ANO will be in opposition
In Pardubice, a coalition agreement was signed by ODS, STAN, Progressive Pardubice, Our Pardubice, and New People’s Party, forming a majority in the city council. Ondřej Tichý from ODS will serve as the new mayor, marking a shift from the previous leadership of ANO, which had governed since 2014. The coalition reflects the voters' desire for change, as expressed by Tichý. The new council will include four deputy mayors from different parties. ANO lost two mandates in the recent elections and is now in opposition, alongside other parties. Some members, like MP Anežka Nedomová, have distanced themselves from any collaboration with ANO, emphasizing the need for change in Pardubice.
