Parliament constitutes itself as an assistant in the process regarding the alleged assault on Ventura's office

The Portuguese Parliament has joined as an assistant in the judicial process regarding the alleged break-in at the office of Chega leader André Ventura. This decision was announced by the President of the Assembly, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, who stated that the Parliament aims to actively monitor the investigation into potential crimes related to the incident. The legal representation will be provided pro bono by lawyer José António Barreiros. Ventura reported that his office was vandalized, with missing USB drives and documents. The investigation is being conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office and the National Counter-Terrorism Unit, with Ventura and other Chega deputies set to testify.
