Arab parties in Israel negotiate positions to coordinate the formation of a change government
Arab political parties in Israel are negotiating positions to form a new government aimed at replacing Prime Minister Netanyahu. Leaders from the Joint List and Raam met in Nazareth to coordinate their efforts ahead of consultations by President Isaac Herzog. The goal is to unite against Netanyahu's government, following significant Arab voter turnout in recent elections. The opposition leader, Gadi Eisenkot, is expected to be recommended for forming the government, with support from other parties like Israel Beitenu. If appointed, Eisenkot will have 28 days to negotiate a coalition, with a possible extension of 14 days.
