Paweł Kowal: Russia's policy is now much more aggressive
The relationship between Poland and Ukraine has improved since the crisis in May and June, allowing for clearer communication on differing views, particularly regarding historical assessments. While there are disagreements on the evaluation of the UPA and the Polish-Ukrainian conflict from 1943-1947, both countries agree on most other historical matters. Current challenges include ensuring humanitarian aid during winter and the successful investment of Polish companies in Ukraine, particularly in light of recent approvals for significant transactions. Despite concerns about safety and investment risks, Polish exports to Ukraine have increased significantly, indicating strong economic ties. Preparations for post-war business opportunities are ongoing, with Polish firms ready to engage in reconstruction efforts once the conflict ends.
