PCP wants Luís Neves and PJ director in the inquiry committee

The PCP has announced its intention to summon four individuals to a parliamentary inquiry regarding Luís Neves' tenure as head of the PJ. The inquiry will include the current Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, former deputy director Luísa Proença, current PJ director Carlos Cabreiro, and Álvaro Pires, director of financial management services at PJ. No documents have been requested yet, as the PCP will assess this based on the progress of the hearings. The inquiry was established to evaluate Neves' actions during his leadership from 2018 to 2026 and any potential government accountability. The inquiry was initiated following controversies involving Neves and contracts with a company linked to the PJ.
