The Portuguese League Against Cancer's fundraising campaign kicks off across the country

The annual fundraising campaign by the Portuguese League Against Cancer has begun, with thousands of volunteers participating nationwide. Last year, the campaign raised over 2.2 million euros to support 25,000 individuals. This initiative is crucial for funding the League's services for cancer patients and their families, as well as for prevention and research efforts. The campaign will run until Sunday in public areas, including shopping centers and churches, with 21,600 volunteers identifiable by their vests and donation boxes.
