Pedro Sánchez: "Spain is not governed from Washington, Tel Aviv, Moscow or Buenos Aires"

Pedro Sánchez, in his speech at the World in Progress forum, warned against the rise of far-right forces threatening European unity and freedoms. He emphasized the need for a stronger, more autonomous Europe and criticized traditional right-wing alliances with the far-right. Sánchez highlighted the economic achievements of Spain, including a 2.7% growth rate and a reduction in public debt, while acknowledging social unrest over housing and living costs. He defended his government's social policies and the housing law, which has led to rental price decreases in Barcelona. Sánchez also called for better regulation in technology, particularly regarding artificial intelligence, advocating for more European unity against divisive forces.
