For the sixth time, I Liga could have a leader winning the first ten games
FC Porto leads the league with a chance to achieve ten consecutive wins against Estoril, matching historical records. This would mark only the second time in history they reach this milestone, previously achieved in the 1939/40 season. If successful, Porto would join Benfica and Sporting, who have also reached ten wins at the start of the league. Historically, the leader after ten matches has often gone on to win the championship, with only one exception in 1990/91. Estoril, currently at the bottom of the table, is under interim coach Sérgio Raimundo, following the departure of Vasco Matos.
