At least 10 detained and six injured in the Lisbon camp

At least 10 protesters were detained and six injured during a police intervention at the Lisbon camp for housing rights. The spokesperson reported that the police used excessive force, resulting in injuries and hospitalizations. The intervention occurred early in the morning as police moved to dismantle the camps in Lisbon and Porto, leading to confrontations. Protesters attempted to form human barriers but were quickly dispersed. Several politicians were present and engaged with police before the intervention, which was deemed unnecessary. Observers from the National Prevention Mechanism were also present during the events.
