Money for relocation and a vote. Three men allegedly wanted to manipulate the elections according to the police

Three men have been charged with attempting to influence local elections in a municipality in Louny by offering money for changing residency and voting according to instructions. The main suspect, a 48-year-old from Teplice, was assisted by two others aged 47 and 25. They sought individuals willing to change their permanent residence and vote as directed, potentially expanding their network of manipulated voters. The police documented several instances of transporting individuals to change their residency before the elections held on October 9 and 10. If convicted, the men face up to three years in prison for obstructing the electoral process.
