Staff fed up with problems with Frisian taxis: 'People are waiting for hours'

Employees of taxi company Dorenbos are struggling with their work conditions, facing long wait times and technical issues with vehicles. Complaints have surged since the company acquired four taxi firms in Friesland, particularly affecting transport for the elderly and those with disabilities. An ex-driver shared experiences of significant delays, including a two-hour wait for a woman after chemotherapy. Dorenbos's management attributes the complaints to startup issues after taking over a failed company, acknowledging delays of up to two hours for passengers. Similar issues are reported in Utrecht with another transport provider, Willemsen de Koning, despite being awarded a new contract.
