Oil prices have dropped due to hopes for diplomatic progress in the US-Iran conflict. WTI fell by 6.7% to $97.1 per barrel, while Brent reached a low of $105.86, also down 6.7%. The decline accelerated after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced efforts to resolve the situation through dialogue, having received authority from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
