First President of the Supreme Court: lack of quorum to adopt a resolution by the General Assembly of Judges

The Supreme Court's General Assembly convened but lacked quorum due to the absence of 28 judges. The First President, Zbigniew Kapiński, noted that the assembly could not adopt a resolution regarding the Constitutional Tribunal due to the stance of some judges appointed before 2017. The Supreme Court's College expressed strong opposition to actions undermining judicial authority, particularly concerning the removal of the Constitutional Tribunal's president, Bogdan Święczkowski. They emphasized that such actions violate constitutional principles and called for respect for the Constitution and legal boundaries.
