Hackers attack firefighters' database and access personal data

The database of the National Census of Portuguese Firefighters was hacked, compromising personal data. The National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority confirmed the breach and suspended the application. Personal information accessed includes names, ID numbers, and health data. The Liga dos Bombeiros Portugueses acknowledged the incident, noting that individual notifications should have been sent to registered members.
