PiS wants a VAT reduction on heating. "We will continue to insist"

On Monday, PiS club leader Mariusz Błaszczak requested an extraordinary session of the Sejm to discuss the "Cheap Heating" bill. Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty declined to convene the session, stating he was unfamiliar with the proposal. PiS Vice President Przemysław Czarnek criticized this decision, emphasizing the bill's potential to reduce heating costs for families. The "Cheap Heating 1.0" package aims to lower VAT rates on heating fuels and electricity. Czarnek also introduced "Cheap Heating 2.0," targeting small businesses, proposing state reimbursements for increased heating costs. This initiative could support over 2 million entrepreneurs during the winter.
