PiS submits a draft law "to calm the situation in Polish families"

During an expert conference, PiS Vice President Przemysław Czarnek announced a project aimed at reducing heating costs. The proposal includes an 8% VAT rate on solid fuels like coal and pellets, which is expected to lower prices by 250 to 300 PLN per ton. Additionally, a 5% VAT on electricity and heat is suggested, potentially saving average families up to 70 PLN monthly. Czarnek emphasized the urgency of implementing this "cheap heating package" to alleviate financial pressure on Polish families and micro-enterprises.
