PJ detains two foreigners at Lisbon airport with over 10 kilograms of cocaine
The Judicial Police (PJ) arrested two foreign nationals at Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport, who were carrying over 10 kilograms of cocaine from South America. The operation involved a 74-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man, both from EU countries. Although they traveled on the same flight, there is no evidence they knew each other. The cocaine's high purity level prevented the distribution of tens of thousands of individual doses. Both suspects were presented for a judicial hearing and placed in preventive detention. The investigation continues under the Lisbon Department of Investigation and Penal Action (DIAP).
