"I am fulfilling one of my life dreams." Violin virtuoso Svěcený baptized his new album

The album "Posvěcené muzikály" merges musical theater with solo violin and orchestral sounds, featuring 15 well-known melodies. It was launched in Prague with notable figures as godparents. The project, led by violinist Jaroslav Svěcený and producer Michael Prostějovský, aims to reinterpret famous musical pieces without lyrics, showcasing the emotional depth of the violin. The album includes music from iconic musicals like "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Cats." Svěcený expressed his dream of transforming these melodies into a new form, emphasizing the violin's unique ability to convey emotion without words. The idea for the album emerged after a concert in 2025, highlighting the potential of musical theater in a classical context.
