After a month and three attempts, finally free. A trapped shark has been released in South Korea.

South Korean authorities successfully rescued a shark that had been trapped in a water channel in Busan for over a month. The shark, named Pugangi, attracted 1.6 million tourists since its sighting on September 18. Despite two previous unsuccessful rescue attempts, a team managed to guide the shark out using a net and paddles. Although the shark is now outside the channel, it is still not in open waters. The increase in shark sightings along South Korea's eastern coast is attributed to warmer seas and more fish availability.
