North Wrocław paralyzed. Two renovations at once and gigantic traffic jams

Drivers heading to Wrocław from Oleśnica face significant delays due to a 7-kilometer traffic jam on the S8 route and city bypass. The congestion began after the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) initiated urgent repairs on a damaged expansion joint, closing one lane. Alternative routes, such as Krzywoustego Street, are also affected by ongoing roadworks, exacerbating the situation. City road officials noted that the overlap of these repairs was unplanned, describing it as an unforeseen event. Roadworks on the bypass are expected to be completed by the end of October.
