After the time change, we have the "correct" time in Poland. Almost nowhere is it in line with the solar time.
Winter time is considered the 'correct' time zone for Poland, which lies in the Central European Time zone. This zone spans from 7°30′ to 22°30′ east longitude. The natural time for a location is solar time, determined by solar noon when the sun is at its highest point. Poland's geographical span results in a 40-minute difference in solar time from east to west. While winter time aligns with the average solar time at 15° east longitude, summer time is more suitable for eastern regions like Białystok and Suwałki, where it is closer to solar time. However, no part of Poland aligns perfectly with solar noon during summer time. Poland will switch to summer time again on March 28, 2027.
