Trains are bursting at the seams. Deputy Minister: 300 carriages are missing
Railway security has been strengthened in Poland due to potential infiltration by sabotage groups. This action, initiated after an explosion on the Warsaw-Dęblin line, will continue as long as the conflict persists at the eastern border. Digital surveillance investments are underway to enhance monitoring. Additionally, the A2 highway renovation between Łódź and Warsaw will increase train frequency, although there is a shortage of 300 Inter City carriages. Discussions are ongoing for a 20 billion PLN loan to fund high-speed rail connections. Trains are expected to reach speeds of 250 km/h by next year on key routes.
