Snow tax and fee for a night wedding. They decided on the old regulations

The Italian government, led by Minister Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, has initiated a significant operation to repeal outdated laws from the fascist era and earlier. This effort revealed peculiar regulations, such as those concerning the use of carrier pigeons, which were once deemed vital for national security. Additionally, a decree from the fascist period regarding a banana monopoly was also annulled, along with regulations on confiscating animals and vehicles for military use. Among the unusual laws repealed was a tax on snow in Cerignola, where snow is rarely seen, and a nighttime marriage fee in Lucca that has been inactive for years.
