Increase in care benefits. How much will it be from January?

The annual adjustment of benefits is linked to the increase in the minimum wage, ensuring that caregivers are protected against inflation. In 2027, those caring for children with significant disabilities will receive increased support, regardless of income, based solely on medical and legal criteria. New regulations from 2024 will allow benefits until the child turns 18, but families can continue receiving support for adults if they meet certain conditions. Caregivers looking after multiple children may receive higher amounts, potentially up to 10,464 PLN monthly. Additionally, caregivers under new rules can work while receiving benefits, unlike those under older regulations. Automatic adjustments will be made unless the disability decision expires, requiring new applications.
