Poles are fed up with electric scooters. Clear results from the survey
A recent IBRiS survey reveals that a significant majority of Poles support stricter regulations for electric scooters in cities. 76.5% favor designated no-scooter zones, while 78.2% advocate for reduced speed limits. However, opinions are divided on a complete ban, with 43.2% in favor and 48.5% against. Support for a ban varies by age, with older respondents more likely to favor it. Additionally, 78.2% of participants believe speed limits should be lowered, particularly among seniors. The survey indicates that only 8.4% of respondents have used electric scooters in the past six months, with younger individuals being the most frequent users. The study was conducted from October 22-26, 2026, with a sample of 1,000 participants.
