Spanish police evicts camp from Sol Square

The national and municipal police cleared the protest camp at Puerta del Sol in Madrid without incidents, detaining two individuals for resisting authority. The operation began around 3 AM, with approximately 300 people present at the camp, which had been set up to demand housing solutions following the eviction of an elderly woman. The government stated that the eviction was conducted peacefully and aimed to restore normal use of the area. The camp's dissolution had been previously announced in preparation for a general strike on November 11.
