Balaštíková has denied the allegations. The police confirmed the charges, and recordings surfaced suggesting she used her influence to initiate inspections at her ex-husband's company. Following these revelations, the ANO party removed her from their election candidate list, prompting her to suspend her membership. The recordings were secretly made by her ex-husband during conflicts, where she allegedly planned to target the company ChemProgres, managed by him.
