He also faces a two-year flying ban and must pay 10,000 PLN to a victims' fund. The ruling is not final, allowing for an appeal. The incident caused significant damage, costing nearly 2.5 million PLN for repairs and over 2.7 million PLN in state losses due to a power line accident. The commander has since retired.
