Police, childcare, youth center and municipal services in 1 new building in Kieldrecht

A new multifunctional building in Kieldrecht will house the local police, youth center, childcare, and municipal services. It will be built on the former training field of KSK Kieldrecht. The youth center will be located underground, with childcare above it, and the police and municipal services on the upper floors. The project aims to centralize services for residents, allowing them to access various municipal functions in one location. Safety measures, including soundproofing and secure play areas, have been incorporated. Despite concerns about space, officials believe the design will accommodate all functions effectively. Construction is set to begin this winter, with a budget of over 3.5 million euros.
