Polish companies are re-entering the Indian market

Jupiter Wagons Limited, an Indian manufacturer of freight and passenger wagons, has partnered with Pesa to produce locomotives and passenger vehicles in India. The agreement, signed on October 22 during the Polish-Indian Economic Forum in Delhi, includes technology transfer and joint projects focused on decarbonizing rail transport. Pesa aims to expand its international presence, having already established operations in Romania, the Czech Republic, and Germany. The collaboration with Jupiter Wagons is seen as a significant step in Pesa's foreign expansion strategy, with both companies looking to capitalize on India's growing railway market. Jupiter Wagons is also involved in various partnerships with European firms to enhance its production capabilities.
