Polish Airports will subsidize Wizz Air for flights from Radom to Oslo
On October 20, a tender for marketing services to promote air traffic from Warsaw-Radom Airport to Oslo was awarded to Wizz Air, which submitted the only bid of nearly 5.3 million PLN. The proposal was accepted by PPL, and upon signing the contract, Wizz Air will launch the new route. The director of Warsaw-Radom Airport emphasized that this connection will enhance the airport's year-round offerings. In October, the airport served 9,388 passengers, a 15% increase from last year, indicating stable demand. The airport, reopened in April 2023 after renovations, aims to diversify revenue through a hybrid model by 2030, following significant losses in 2025.
